Matt Liq LinesIndicator Overview
The "Matt Liq Lines" indicator is designed to help traders identify significant price levels where high-volume trading occurred. These levels are often referred to as liquidation levels and can act as support or resistance in the market. The indicator plots horizontal lines on the chart at these identified levels, helping traders make informed decisions based on volume spikes.
Key Features
Volume Multiplier: A user-defined threshold to identify high-volume candles. If a candle's volume is greater than the average volume multiplied by this multiplier, it is considered a high-volume candle.
Lookback Period: The period over which the average volume is calculated. This helps in smoothing out volume data to identify significant spikes.
Max Levels: The maximum number of liquidation levels to display on the chart. This helps in keeping the chart clean and focuses on the most relevant levels.
Indicator Components
Average Volume Calculation:
avgVolume = ta.sma(volume, lookbackPeriod)
Calculates the simple moving average (SMA) of the volume over the specified lookback period.
High Volume Identification:
highVolume = volume > (avgVolume * volumeMultiplier)
Identifies if the current candle's volume is greater than the average volume multiplied by the volume multiplier.
Liquidation Levels Storage:
Uses arrays to store the levels, their corresponding bar indices, and volumes.
Adding Liquidation Levels:
When a high-volume candle is identified, its open price is added as a liquidation level. If the maximum number of levels is exceeded, the oldest level is removed to make room for the new one.
Cleaning Levels:
A function f_clean_levels removes crossed levels (where the price has already moved above and below the level) and keeps the levels with the highest volumes.
Plotting Liquidation Lines:
Horizontal lines are drawn at the identified liquidation levels. These lines extend to the right and help traders visualize important price levels.
How to Use the Indicator
Set the Volume Multiplier: Adjust the volume multiplier to filter out minor volume spikes and focus on significant ones.
Adjust the Lookback Period: Set a lookback period that reflects the typical trading volume for the asset you are analyzing.

The indicator starts by drawing a Center Line that is selected by the user from a variety of common levels. Then, it draws a sequence of horizontal lines above and below the Center Line, which are sized based on the most confirmed average true range (ATR) at the selected higher timeframe.
In the top right corner of the chart, there is a table displaying both the selected ATR (in the right cell) and the ATR of the current bar (in the left cell). This feature enables users to compare these two values. It's important to note that the ATR of the current bar may not be confirmed yet, as the market is still active.

Liquidity Price Depth Chart [LuxAlgo]The Liquidity Price Depth Chart is a unique indicator inspired by the visual representation of order book depth charts, highlighting sorted prices from bullish and bearish candles located on the chart's visible range, as well as their degree of liquidity.
Note that changing the chart's visible range will recalculate the indicator.
🔶 USAGE
The indicator can be used to visualize sorted bullish/bearish prices (in descending order), with bullish prices being highlighted on the left side of the chart, and bearish prices on the right. Prices are highlighted by dots, and connected by a line.
The displacement of a line relative to the x-axis is an indicator of liquidity, with a higher displacement highlighting prices with more volume.
These can also be easily identified by only keeping the dots, visible voids can be indicative of a price associated with significant volume or of a large price movement if the displacement is more visible for the price axis. These areas could play a key role in future trends.
Additionally, the location of the bullish/bearish prices with the highest volume is highlighted with dotted lines, with the returned horizontal lines being useful as potential support/resistances.

Clusters of liquidity can be spotted when the Liquidity Price Depth Chart exhibits more rectangular shapes rather than "V" shapes.
The steepest segments of the shape represent periods of non-stationarity/high volatility, while zones with clustered prices highlight zones of potential liquidity clusters, that is zones where traders accumulate positions.

At the bottom of each area, a percentage can be visible. This percentage aims to indicate if the traded volume is more often associated with bullish or bearish price variations.
In the chart above we can see that bullish price variations make 63.89% of the total volume in the range visible range.

🔹 Tick vs. LTF data
a Tick is an measure of (upward or downward) movement in price OR volume.
We can use this data by using varip in the code.
Advantage:
• Detail, detail, detail
• Accurate, per tick
Disadvantage:
• Only realtime
• Can reset 'easily' -> loss of data
• Will reset when settings are changed
LTF data, through the request.security_lower_tf() function, measures the OHLCV data per LTF bar
Advantage:
• Access to history when loading a chart
• No 'loss' of data when chart resets
Disadvantage:
• Less detailed
• Less accurate
This script makes it possible to compare the 2 techniques and enables you to show different values.
🔹 Values
There are mainly 3 important values:
• UP volume (uV): volume when price rises
• DOWN volume (dV): volume when price falls
• NEUTRAL volume (nV): volume when price stays the same
From this, additional data is calculated:
• Volume Delta (ΔV): uV minus dV
• Cumulative Delta Volume (cΔV): sum of ΔV
One typical nV is at open: at that moment there isn't a base price to compare with,
so when the first trade doesn't fully fill the first supply (up or down), volume will rise, but price just is 'open', no movement -> no uV or dV.
• Tick data: every volume changement per tick will be added to the concerning variable (uV, dV or nV)
• LTF data: every volume changement of each bar will be added to the concerning variable (uV, dV or nV)
-> this can easily give a difference, for example (Tick vs. 1 minute LTF), when most of the ticks caused a rise of price, but at the last few seconds, a few ticks causes the close to come below open, with Tick data this could give more UP Volume, while LTF data will show 1 value of DOWN Volume.

Data window and status line only show what is applicable (tick or LTF data) to diminish clutter of data values:
The Tick option has a label above 0 which includes details of every Tick.
If data is added every tick, that label on a 10 minute chart will be filled beyond limitations pretty quickly (string max_length = 4096 limit).
To prevent the script stopping to execute, at a certain limit, this label will stop updating and show the message "Too much data".
The label below the 0-line won't reach that limit, so it will keep on updating.
Timeframes closer to 1 second will have less risk to reach that 4096 limit. Details will remain to show in this case.

Relative Strength, not RSIThe Smoothed Relative Strength Indicator (not RSI) with Multi-Timeframe Support is a custom indicator that combines the concepts of Relative Strength (not RSI) and Money Flow Index (MFI) to create a smoothed trend-following tool. It works on any timeframe and adapts to different market conditions.

Multi SMI Ergodic OscillatorThe Multi SMI Ergodic Oscillator (Multi SMIEO) indicator can be used to identify potential buy and sell signals based on the relationship between the TSI and EMA lines.
The script is creating an indicator that plots multiple (3) sets of Time Series Indicator (TSI-Indicator) and Exponential Moving Average (EMA-Signal) lines as a single indicator.
The TSI is a momentum oscillator that helps identify overbought and oversold conditions. It is calculated using the close prices of an asset, a short-term moving average, and a long-term moving average. The script uses three different pairs of input values for the short-term and long-term periods, which can be adjusted by the user.
The EMA is a type of moving average that gives more weight to recent prices. It is calculated by applying a weighting factor to the most recent price, and then adding that weighted value to the previous EMA value. The script uses three different input values for the length of the EMA, which can also be adjusted by the user.

Reverse Engineering RSI II - EMARSI and SMARSIThis is the Reverse Engineering EMARSI and SMARSI Indicator.
It’s based on the work of Giorgos Siligardos on Reverse Engineering RSI.
The Reverse Engineering EMARSI and SMARSI Indicator shows the Exponential Moving Average and the Simple Moving Average of the RSI line but plotted in the price chart.
This script is also a complement of "Reverse Engineering RSI, by Giorgos Siligardos" script by HPotter but can also be used alone.
By default the RevEngSMARSI is turned off.
The RevEngEMARSI is the white line.
I’ve also added to the indicator:
1) Simple Moving Average (MA) of the EMARSI (EMARSI SMA) - Orange Line
2) Standard Deviation Bands for the EMARSI SMA - turned off by default
Using the settings I left in default (Length's = 1), we can see that when the EMARSI SMA is horizontal the price rises and so does the EMARSI. Also when the EMARSI SMA rises that's a signal that there is a resistance/support at that price. We can observe such thing if we draw horizontal lines at those prices. We can use this to help us put stop-losses and take profits. Also, those resistance/suport prices are ALWAYS the closing price of the first red candle after a bullish trend (big or small trends). Interesting...
When the EMARSI SMA rises and touches the EMARSI 3 things can happen:
- Bullish Trend slows down
- Correction of price
- Trend reversal
So, when the EMARSI SMA rises that can be interpreted as a signal for taking profits.
We should always wait for the price to close in the timeframe we're using, because sometimes the EMARSI SMA rises before the closing price and flattens again when is about to close.
However we should never take decisions based on 1 indicator. Our trading decision should always take in consideration multiple sources of information.
Of course we can use other settings for the trading. And if we do that we will observe different behaviours. And we should also study those behaviours. We can then use the crosses between the lines.

Future PreviewFuture Preview
Calculate real-time future order profit with open price, leverage and commission fee. Simple and straight forward. If you need any additional feature, please leave a comment below. I am glad to help.
Usage:
When adding Future Preview to chart, it will ask order open time and open price on the chart by clicking with left mouse on the desired value. These value can be changed lately, as well as the leverage and commission fee. Default leverage is 10 and default commission fee is 0.06% (taker).
There will be two horizontal lines. The solid longer line is the open price line, it shows the order open price. The shorter line moving with real-time price is the current price line, it shows the current price. There will be preview data shows on top or below the price line. Open price line is red for short order and green for long order. The current price line is red when the order is losing and it is green when it profiting. The back ground color follows the color of current price line. Background color transparency and gain/loss color can be changed in options.
There will be one horizontal line on the left if the option of showing open time is on (default is on). It shows the time stamp when current order opened.
After adding Future Preview to chart, there is option to add Taking Profit(TP) or Stop Loss(SL) to the chart.

I numbered the horizontal line of the 'Buy/Sell' indicator.
The length is different in the order of No. 2 > No. 1 > No. 3.
Since horizontal line 2 is the longest, it indicates that support and resistance play the greatest role.
If you check the support at the first horizontal point, it can be interpreted that there is a high possibility of receiving resistance at the second horizontal point.

Background
Backtesting of technical indicators and strategies is the most common way to understand a quantitative strategy. However, the complicated configuration and adaptation work of backtesting many quantitative tools makes many traders who do not understand the code daunted. Moreover, although I have written a lot of strategies, I am still not very satisfied with the backtest configuration and writing efficiency. Therefore, I have been thinking about how to build a backtesting framework that can quickly and easily evaluate the backtesting performance of any indicator with a "long/short entry" indicator, that is, a "simple backtesting tool for dummies". The performance requirements should be stable, and the operation should be simple and convenient. It is best to "copy", "paste", and "a few mouse clicks" to complete the quick backtest and evaluation of a new indicator.
Luckily, I recently realized that TradingView provides an "Indicator on Indicator" feature, which is the perfect foundation for doing "hot swap" backtesting. My basic idea is to use a two-layer design. The first layer is the technical indicator signal source that needs to be embedded, which is only used to provide buy and sell signals of custom strategies; the second layer is the trading system, which is used to receive the output signals of the first layer, and filter the signals according to the agreed specifications. , Take Profit, Stop Loss, draw buy and sell signals and cost lines, define and send custom buy and sell alert messages to mobile phones, social software or trading interfaces. In general, this two-layer design is a flexible combination of "death and alive", which can meet the needs of most traders to quickly evaluate the performance of a certain technical indicator. The first layer here is flexible. Users can insert their own strategy codes according to my template, and they can draw buy and sell signals and output them to the second layer. The second layer is fixed, and the overall framework is solidified to ensure the stability and unity of the trading system. Background
Backtesting of technical indicators and strategies is the most common way to understand a quantitative strategy. However, the complicated configuration and adaptation work of backtesting many quantitative tools makes many traders who do not understand the code daunted. Moreover, although I have written a lot of strategies, I am still not very satisfied with the backtest configuration and writing efficiency. Therefore, I have been thinking about how to build a backtesting framework that can quickly and easily evaluate the backtesting performance of any indicator with a "long/short entry" indicator, that is, a "simple backtesting tool for dummies". The performance requirements should be stable, and the operation should be simple and convenient. It is best to "copy", "paste", and "a few mouse clicks" to complete the quick backtest and evaluation of a new indicator.
Luckily, I recently realized that TradingView provides an "Indicator on Indicator" feature, which is the perfect foundation for doing "hot swap" backtesting. My basic idea is to use a two-layer design. The first layer is the technical indicator signal source that needs to be embedded, which is only used to provide buy and sell signals of custom strategies; the second layer is the trading system, which is used to receive the output signals of the first layer, and filter the signals according to the agreed specifications. , Take Profit, Stop Loss, draw buy and sell signals and cost lines, define and send custom buy and sell alert messages to mobile phones, social software or trading interfaces. In general, this two-layer design is a flexible combination of "death and alive", which can meet the needs of most traders to quickly evaluate the performance of a certain technical indicator. The first layer here is flexible. Users can insert their own strategy codes according to my template, and they can draw buy and sell signals and output them to the second layer. The second layer is fixed, and the overall framework is solidified to ensure the stability and unity of the trading system. It is convenient to compare different or similar strategies under the same conditions. Finally, all trading signals are drawn on the chart, and the output strategy returns. test report.
